SPACELINKS
EMBRACE THE SPACELINK ๐๐๐ฐ๏ธ๐๐
BUILD YOUR OWN WOBBLY SPACE STATION NOW
Pilot the tiny ship, join and disconnect modules on the way, construct unbelievable spaceships, explore the debris field to rescue the remaining humans!
Open the orbital gates and join with the humanity's greatest treasure...
SPACELINKS is physics-based spaceship simulator, where everything is build from small modules that you can attach and detach to you at will.
The game simulates how the objects move around and dock in real space in a simplified way - short controlled bursts are the key!
Collect all the modules and deliver them to the orbital gate!
Average time to complete the game 100% - 7 min!
If you feel that something has gone wrong with you station, restart the level and start again! - it is possible to yeeet the key modules out in space by accident ๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐
The jam version has 3 areas to explore and the final epic ending sequence.
There may be a secret area that the radar will not show...

I'm... so... dizzy... but it was fun anyway!!
maybe if the camera rotated very slowly to the closest 90 or 180 degrees around the ship, but I understand that would have messed with the controls. Maybe just make the mass higher, the dark grey debris definitely needed to have a lower mass, I got a piece stuck between three bigger debris pieces and that took ages to unlock. Also, at the third site I almost lost a piece, chased after it and got it, and when I got back realized the rest of them were gone. I was pretty wreckless, probs not playing the way it was meant to be played, so not too surprised.
If you did some more stuff with modules that had functions you'd have something extremely interesting.
Best game for this jam I've played so far!
DEAR GOD HOW DO I STOP SPINNING!!!
That aside this has a good chance to make it to the top, if only because it executes the theme so well.
Overall a very cool game! Fits well with the theme, and the artwork and emergent sound/music were neat. I found the movement to be a bit disorienting and I got lost pretty easily, but overall a fun experience! Well done
Entry for GMTK 2021 :-)
Enjoy !
